SOFORON FOUNDATION

WHO WE ARE?

Let's Make Change Together

About Soforon Foundation

The Soforon Foundation is a youth-led social enterprise dedicated to rehabilitating and restoring individuals and communities affected by conflict, political upheaval, and systemic injustice in Bangladesh. While initially founded in response to the devastating aftermath of the July 2024 Uprising, which left countless injured, families bereaved, and a generation economically vulnerable, our mission is to address the recurring cycles of trauma and displacement caused by societal fractures.
We recognize that true recovery requires more than short-term aid; it demands holistic healing, economic reintegration, and mobilization of Bangladesh’s most dynamic resource: its youth. By uniting energetic, trailblazing young leaders, Soforon builds sustainable support ecosystems that combine mental health care, financial rehabilitation, and advocacy to foster resilience, dignity, and collective agency.
