Amrai Bikalpa

Amrai Bikalpa Youth Platform

A platform under Soforon Foundation that aims to engage Youth of Bangladesh (including July Movement heroes & participants) as active stakeholders in governance and social accountability.

Public Service Tracker (SDG-Aligned)

  • Trained youth volunteers collect data and collaborate with authorities for monitoring & advocacy.
  • Transparent reporting via a mobile app with traceability feature for each issue. 
  • A digital dashboard to monitor public services. Use GIS mapping to visualize service delivery gaps across regions.

Anti-Corruption Whistleblower Squad

  • Secure, digital and anonymous reporting of corruption; youth-led verification and issue resolution tracking. 
  • Partnerships with ACC, CAG Office, legal NGOs and watchdog organizations.
  • Ethical governance and anti-corruption training for youth.

Civic Monitoring & Reporting Platform

  • Crowdsourced reports on local civic issues (e.g., healthcare, infrastructure, sanitation).
  • Collect data on literacy, numeracy, access to healthcare, and quality & utilization of public services. 
  • Publish findings in accessible formats, ensuring community members can understand and act on the data.
  • Monthly public forums to hold officials accountable.

Youth Advocacy Training

  • Equips youth with skills in research, data analysis, public speaking, and negotiation.
  • Collaborations with universities and NGOs to build a cadre of informed youth leaders.
  • Practical learning through community engagement and policy discussions.

Youth Forum for Civil Engagement & Advocacy

  • A space for leadership development and grassroots activism.
  • Organizing campaigns on environmental justice, gender equality, and good governance.
  • Engage with policymakers, local governments, and service providers to address gaps highlighted by data. 
  • Collaboration with academic institutions and civil society groups.
