The Soforon Foundation (SF) is a youth-led social enterprise dedicated to one simple mission: restoring lives that have been shattered by crisis.
Bangladesh is a nation built on the courage of the ordinary. From the students who defended our mother tongue in 1952 to the dreamers who stood tall in 2024, our identity is woven with threads of sacrifice. In 1969, 1990, and the Independence of 1971. We proved that whenever justice was at stake, people would rise.
However, once the history books are written and the crowds disperse, a silent struggle begins. The heroes of these movements, and the survivors of today’s social tragedies, often find themselves navigating a world that has moved on without them.
The Soforon Foundation (SF) was founded to ensure that no one is left behind in the aftermath of history. While our mission was ignited by the July 2024 Uprising, we recognise that trauma does not only exist on the frontlines of revolution. It exists on our roads, in our homes, and in our divided communities.
Rooted in the spirit of our ancestors, SF is a youth-led movement dedicated to holistic rehabilitation. We turn the fractures of conflict and personal tragedy into a foundation for a dignified, independent future.
SF provides a lifeline through mental health support, financial rehabilitation, and social advocacy, ensuring that no survivor is left to suffer in silence.

The Thread of Courage
History is often told through big dates;1952, 1971, or 2024. But the real story of Bangladesh is told through the people who survive them.
Imagine a father who survived the 1990 movement, only to lose his livelihood. Now, imagine a young woman today whose life is turned upside down by a sudden road accident, or a family displaced by communal tension. Different causes, but the same result: a life interrupted and a future clouded by uncertainty.
At the Soforon Foundation, we believe that every person deserves the chance to rebuild, regardless of how they were hurt. By providing medical coordination, emotional and financial tools to restart, people regain their independence.
This is the "Soforon Spirit." We take the bravery of our ancestors and apply it to the challenges of today. We aren't just looking back at the heroes of the past; we are working to ensure that every individual facing hardship today—from the streets to the home—has the support they need to become the hero of their own future.
